The
Weekend
Academy welcomes and supports disabled participants and artists.
The Weekend Academy works closely with disability organisations in London, and actively supports accessible and inclusive projects.
The Weekend Academy has developed strong networks with disabled and D/deaf communities in London, and has initiated arts activities with disabled people of all ages in our local area. Byam Shaw School of Art numbers internationally respected disabled artists among its alumni, including Yinka Shonibare, Lucy Jones and the late Meena Jaffrey.
We welcome proposals for partnership working with organisations supporting disabled and integrated projects, particularly with young people.
