The Saturday Studio project provides open access to drawing and print-making for disabled people, and is led by disabled professional artists. Participants discover their creative potential in a friendly, supportive atmosphere, and have access to professional print-making and drawing facilities.

Saturday Studio is an inclusive project for people with sensory impairments, learning difficulties, survivors of mental health systems, those living with long-term illness or chronic pain and homeless people.

Participants exhibited an eclectic and exciting mix of work in Byam Shaw’s Concourse Gallery as part of Xposure 2004, London’s annual Disability Arts Festival. Participants have progressed to Access and Foundation Art & Design courses at Camberwell College of Art, CANDI, and Tower Hamlets College.

Saturday Studio ran for 40 sessions on Saturday afternoons in the autumn and spring terms, 2003–2005.
